As the world celebrates World Environment Day, SAMDA Foundation took a Community Action´ by engaging 50 volunteers in the Yaounde VI sub-division, Mfoundi division, Center region of Cameroon. SAMFOUND sensitized and  raise awareness about climate change and Climate Adaptation in the Yaounde VI neighborhood through interactive exchanges using common examples around them, like scarcity of some household commodities; excessive heat and  floods.

With such examples, the population was able to understand and locate themselves in the present situation, and acknowledge the effects of climate change and plastic waste in their immediate environment.
